Irate rants from Facebook users filled my news feed this past week; complaints of foisted, rolled out changes no one liked.  It happens on a regular basis there — change and people complain — though, “ultimately,” as Nicholas Thompson observed in his piece at The New Yorker, “we’ll all be fine with the redesign. And we, as we always do, will forget how mad we were.”

Well, I’m not fine with it, and we, as I recently wrote, now have a viable alternative . . .
