Photoshop in Photojournalism

I began using Adobe Photoshop in 2001 when it stood at Version 5.0 and, in 2002, went back to school for one year and studied it full time.

For reasons outlined in the link below, Photoshop has very little application in my work as a photojournalist — and yet, on occasions,  I enjoy creating new images from old for special clients.

In this example, I have cropped and altered my original image to reflect the devastating results of an earthquake which destroyed this building, along with most of central Christchurch.
